Determination of the Legal Nature of and Correlation Between Charter and Freight Through Comparative Terminology Studies

The article presents the results of a scientific analysis of the legal nature of contracts related to maritime transport. The necessity of including precise terminology and definitions related to maritime transport in the Russian Federation's Merchant Shipping Code is emphasized, as well as the need to establish specific terms for each type of contract.
