Reusable Components as Base Project for Standardizing Software Quality
Techniques in the software development process have been researched and used widely in the academic and industry realms. This paper introduces a strategy for standardizing development practices within the software development department. One action to standardized development is the usage of software frameworks. However, just using a framework is still prone to have a very different software variance across projects. Providing a base project that contains common infrastructure used across projects and having coding guidelines will establish a consistent foundation for software projects. This common infrastructure will transcend individual teams and projects, improving software quality and maintainability. Based on survey and analysis, this approach demonstrates a positive impact by promoting smoother integration, reduced development conflicts, and enhanced software quality.
