Anomaly Detection in Uncharted Ship-Borne Field Buses: A case study

Field buses are used in vehicles to transmit information at the automation level between sensors, actuators and control units. In this case study, we show how this data can be used for anomaly detection. Established machine learning methods such as Isolation Forests and One-class Support Vector machines are used for this purpose.

Abstract

Field buses are used in vehicles to transmit information at the automation level between sensors, actuators and control units. In this case study, we show how this data can be used for anomaly detection. Established machine learning methods such as Isolation Forests and One-class Support Vector machines are used for this purpose.
