An Improved Unambiguous Tracking Method of B1C Signal
The thrid-generation Beidou system adopts a novel civil navigation signal called the B1C signal, which employs Binary Offset Carrier (BOC) modulation method. This method effectively enhances spectrum band utilization and positioning accuracy. In satellite navigation systems, the tracking process is a critical step of signal reception. During the tracking process for B1C signal, the autocorrelation properties for multi-peak structure of the BOC signal, which can cause the traditional tracking methods to incorrectly lock on the secondary peak, causing tracking blur. In this study, an improved unambiguous tracking method relied on shifting combination of sub cross-correlation functions(SCSF) is proposed. SCSF method eliminates correlation peaks, except for the main peak, by the shift combination of sub cross-correlation functions and BOC signal autocorrelation function. Simulation results indicate that the presented method is superior traditional tracking methods with respect to ambiguity resolution, multipath resistance, and noise resistance.
