LITERATURE REVIEW: GAMIFICATION-BASED WORDWALL APPLICATION AS AN EVALUATION OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MATHEMATICS LEARNING

The purpose of this study was to conduct a literature review on the use of wordwall game-based applications as a learning evaluation tool in Elementary Schools. This research method uses Literature Review which is carried out by identifying, reviewing, evaluating and interpreting a number of existing studies. Researchers collected journal articles in the Google Scholar database through the Publish or Perish (PoP) application using the keyword "WORDWALL; MATHEMATICS LEARNING; ELEMENTARY SCHOOL" as many as 17 articles. The results of the study indicate that gamification-based wordwall applications can increase the motivation and interest in learning of elementary school students; in addition, wordwall applications are effective in improving elementary school students' mathematics learning outcomes. Therefore, wordwall applications can be used as a medium in developing formative evaluations for gamification-based mathematics learning in elementary schools.
