Prompt Engineering for Developing a GPTs-based AI Chatbot for Cultural Heritage

This paper explores prompt engineering strategies for developing cultural heritage AI chatbots using GPTs.To achieve this, the study focused on the 'Exploring the Cultural Heritage of Soswaewon (ver.2)'chatbot, designed around the prominent Korean cultural heritage site, Soswaewon.The chatbot was developed through a process of planning, prompt creation, and iterative adjustments.Aimed at providing valuable information to a diverse range of users and maximizing interactivity, the chatbot was designed with considerations for the scope of information delivery, communication methods with users, and security guidelines.The prompts for the chatbot were structured based on Scaffolded Prompting Guidelines (PROMPT) and incorporated techniques such as Role-based, One-shot and Few-shot, Template-based, and Structured prompting.These techniques were crucial in maintaining clarity, accuracy, and consistency in the
