PROBLEMS OF SCIENCE DEVELOPMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL TRANSFORMATIONS
The study used 36 local and introduced olive genotypes. The study assessed the incidence of leaf spot genotypes in the natural and artifical environment. In a comparative study of the resistance of olive genotypes to leaf spot in natural and artificial backgrounds, it was noted that some genotypes remain resistant. However, although some genotypes exhibit persistence and immune responses in natural backgrounds, their infections in artificial backgrounds have increased relatively. This study assessed leaf spot resistance in 36 native and introduced olive genotypes.4 of these genotypes were selected as highly resistant, and Azerbaijani, Absheron5 and N50 have the highest resistance.Identification of genotypes resistant to bacterial wilt can be used in breeding programs conducted in this direction. The olive tree (Olea europaea L.) is a thousand-year-old plant, typical of the Mediterranean, valued for its fruits and oil [8, 9].It is considered a very unpretentious species and is generally resistant to abiotic and biotic adverse factors. However, under favorable climatic conditions, it can be attacked by various fungal and bacterial pathogens, which can lead to significant production losses. The sanitary protection of the olive grove is an important task for the economy of the crop, since any damage to
