THEORETICAL FUNDAMENTALS AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF THE APPLICATION OF ULTRASOUND FOR DETECTION OF COMPACTED SOIL LAYER
theoretical (acoustic) and practical (based on laboratory and field experiments) possibilities of using ultrasound to quickly detect the depth of the compacted soil layer. To do this, we will introduce the system of operational control of the depth of travel of the soil ripper of a machine-tractor unit and its main element -an experimental radio physical device for determining the depth of the most compacted soil layer, and describe the results of laboratory and field studies.
