SEA GLASS E BEACH GLASS – SEU USO EM JOIAS, ARTESANATO E COLECÇÕES A PARTIR DO ARQUIPÉLAGO DOS AÇORES, PORTUGAL
This work describes the nature of sea glasses and their importance as a historical asset, in the evolution of glass, decorative and even gemological artefacts and at the same time addresses their occurrence on the edge of the islands of the Azores Archipelago, in Portugal. It is a product that, at first glance, could be seen simply as rubbish, but which nowadays has an appreciable value, be it historical, gemological or for collectors.
