Analysis of Disseminating Intangible Cultural Heritage to ASEAN Countries Through AIGC: The Case of Chinese Tea Culture

Intangible cultural heritage represents a vital aspect of global cultural diversity, embodying historical wisdom and identity across various regions. Chinese tea culture exemplifies this heritage with its unique traditions of tea-making, teaware craftsmanship, and philosophical underpinnings. However, globalization presents challenges such as language barriers, inefficiencies in traditional transmission methods, and economic marginalization. Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content (AIGC) emerges as a transformative tool to address these challenges, utilizing machine learning and natural language processing to tailor cultural content and enhance its global dissemination. This paper explores the impact of AIGC on the promotion of Chinese tea culture in ASEAN countries, highlighting its role in broadening cultural influence through innovative technologies like virtual reality and augmented reality. The integration of tea culture into daily life in ASEAN nations, particularly in Singapore and Malaysia, underscores its resonance and acceptance, facilitated further by digital platforms and social media. As AIGC continues to evolve, future research should focus on ethical considerations and methodologies for preserving cultural authenticity while leveraging technological advancements.
