Efficiency improvement of rectenna working on frequency band of electromagnetic waves of 5G mobile network
Currently, wireless communication systems are found everywhere and in large numbers, which increases the amount of radio frequency (RF) signals scattered in the air day by day, which indicates the need to exploit this wasted energy. Energy recovery is one of the solutions to solve this problem which relies on the system called "Rectenna" or rectifier antenna to transform this energy (RF) into useful continuous energy. This recovered energy will be stored or reused to power various low-consumption electronic objects such as sensors, RFID equipment, or other objects that will be installed and used in very large numbers, especially with the implementation of the 5G mobile network around the world. The objective of our work is the study, the simulation and finally the realization of a rectenna system, for the recovery of the signals of the 5G mobile network, in the frequency band between [3.4 – 3.8 GHz], and to try to increase the efficiency of the rectenna by the realization of two types of antennas.
