There is a pressing need to establish a more intimate interactive connection with Chu music and dance. With the widespread application and development of image recognition technology, its utilization in the field of dance design has become increasingly prevalent. Therefore, this paper proposes a design for an interactive installation for Chu music and dance based on image recognition. The aim is to create an immersive environment for Chu music and dance, providing users with a tactile interactive experience. This design endeavor seeks to bridge the gap between existing Chu music and dance performance forms and the demands of modern audiences. By enhancing immersion and interactivity, users can more actively participate in Chu music and dance performances.
