Research on landing damage effects of heavy equipment airdrop vehicles

Aiming at the damage problem of air-dropped vehicles under cross wind conditions, a special vehicle finite element model is established, and the model is verified by typical working condition test. The peak acceleration of the simulation model is close to that of the test, indicating that the accuracy of the model established in the paper meets the engineering analysis requirements. Then, a special vehicle-buffer airbag model is constructed to study the damage of each component of the airdrop vehicle under different cross wind conditions. The results show that the rear axle swing arm is the most seriously damaged part of the vehicle without cross wind. Cross wind will have a certain impact on the cushioning effect of the airbag. With the increase of cross wind speed, the damage value of each component will also increase, and the damage of the middle longitudinal beam and the front longitudinal beam of the frame is more obvious. With the increase of the horizontal speed, the buffer effect of the airbag gradually decreases, and the damage of the key parts of the vehicle will also increase.
