Research on the stress field and propagation path of oblique surface crack in or near the corrosion pit of CrNiMoV steel
The oblique surface crack tip stress field of CrNiMoV steel near corrosion pit is analyzed by Franc3D simulation method. It proves that the oblique surface cracks are I-II-III three-dimensional mixed mode fatigue cracks. The ratio of KII/KI and KIII/K is greatly affected by crack orientations angle, while the crack size has little effect.Meanwhile, Through the study of the relationship between the crack propagation angle and crack length, indicates that the Franc3D simulation and experiment have similar variation trends. But the stress field and plastic zone at the notch tip of EDM(electrical discharge machining) will influence the early crack propagation.
