Infl uence of enzyme drug and vitamin U on the livability, growth rate and digestion processes of broiler chickens

S-methylmethionine (vitamin U) can successfully eliminate methionine deficiency in the diet by using its methyl groups to synthesize choline and creatine. Vitamin U has a synergistic effect with a wide range of biologically active substances, including exogenous enzymes. The purpose of the research was to investigate the eff ect of the enzyme drug Bio-Feed-Beta and S-methylmethionine on the livability, growth rate, activity of digestive enzymes, as well as the digestibility and assimilation of nutrients in corn-soybean type compound feed in broiler chickens. According to the results of the first experiment, broilers of the 2nd experimental group, which received MEC Bio-Feed-Beta at a dose of 350 g/t of compound feed, had the best livability of livestock and live weight gain. According to these indicators, they exceeded the control by 4.0 abs.% and 8.6 % (P > 0.95). During the second experiment, the highest growth rate was demonstrated by broilers of the 2nd experimental group, which received MEC Bio-Feed-Beta in the dose of 350 g/t of compound feed and S-methylmethionine in an amount of 30 g/t of compound feed. They signifi cantly (P > 0.95) exceeded in absolute growth the control group by 10.9 %. During the second scientifi c and economic experiment, the combined inclusion of MEC Bio-Feed-Beta and S-methylmethionine in corn-soybean diets of chickens ensured a significant (P > 0.95) increase in the activity of cellulases in the contents of the muscular stomach of chickens of the 2nd experimental group by 14.2 %, lipases by 10.2 % and amylases by 10.2 % compared to the control group. According to the results of the second metabolism experiment, the combined addition of the tested drugs provided the signifi cant (P > 0.95) increase in the digestibility coeffi cients of dry matter by 4.09 abs.%, organic matter by 4.13 abs.%, crude protein by 3.76 abs.%, crude fi ber by 3.53 abs.% and nitrogen-free extractive substances by 4.64 abs.% in broiler chickens of the 2nd experimental group, as well as an increase in the daily nitrogen deposition in the body by 8.67 % (P > 0.95).
