LASER PHOTOCOAGULATION TREATMENT FOR CANDIDA CHORIORETINITIS
Candida chorioretinitis can be extremely therapeutically resistant. Current treatment involves systemic and intravitreal antifungals. There are currently limited options for chorioretinal lesions refractory to standard medical therapy. The authors report the novel application of laser photocoagulation as a potential treatment option in refractory cases of Candida chorioretinitis.
