Low-carbon path optimization for logistics distribution routing based on saving algorithm

To foster the low-carbon evolution of logistics and distribution, in alignment with the national mandate for energy conservation and emission reduction, we implement the saving algorithm for planning logistics distribution routes. Utilizing a case study centered on the distribution of fresh produce within company Y, we leverage the saving algorithm to refine the design of vehicle distribution routes. The findings indicate that the optimized distribution route is shorter and entails reduced carbon emissions, thereby enhancing the economic viability of the enterprise. This approach not only propels the green and sustainable progress of the logistics sector but also serves as a valuable reference for other logistics enterprises in addressing practical distribution challenges.
