Discussion on the cause and treatment of under-injection of injection wells in block X

The oilfield entered the late stage of waterflood development. The development effect of the main oil reservoir is gradually deteriorating. As a potential reservoir, the non-main reservoir is seriously disturbed due to its low permeability, resulting in low water displacement efficiency and affecting the improvement of oil recovery. Through the analysis of the current situation of water injection development in oil fields, the difference of water absorption between heterogeneous reservoirs can be alleviated by stratified water injection in water injection Wells, but in some cases, some oil reservoirs still fail to meet the requirements of injection distribution and become under-injected layers, which results in the reduction of water drive sweep coefficient and water drive sweep volume of the reservoir, affecting the effective water injection. Therefore, on the basis of in-depth analysis of the causes of under-injection, we should take corresponding treatment measures to improve the water absorption of this part of Wells and form a set of regularity understanding of under-injection treatment. On the basis of field investigation, combined with the actual production situation of block X, this paper classifies the causes of under-injection in detail, and puts forward the targeted treatment measures around the goal of improving the water injection effect of under-injection wells.
