Summary of quality of life in the ASCENT phase 3 clinical trial for people with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer
Participants treated with sacituzumab govitecan had a higher likelihood of living longer and delayed progression (worsening) of their cancer. Participants also had a better overall quality of life, which was maintained (did not get worse) for a longer time. However, they experienced worsening of diarrhea and/or nausea/vomiting.Clinical Trial Registration: NCT02574455 (ASCENT) (ClinicalTrials.gov).
