Association of Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes Ratio with Body Mass Index in Korean Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients
Our study showed that there is a correlation between the degree of obesity in individuals with diabetes and their gut microbiome. Additionally, the ratio of Firmicutes to Bacteroidetes (F/B ratio) may play a role in the metabolic effects of fatty liver disease, as it may contribute to obesity.
