Berry-dipole semimetals
The authors introduce here a class of topological semimetals, termed ``Berry-dipole semimetals'' (BDSMs), in three dimensions. Two representative characteristics in the Bloch band structure of BDSMs are the quadratic dispersion and dipole-structure Berry curvature near the band degeneracy. The BDSMs are shown to support a diversity of distinctive properties, such as anomalous paired Fermi arcs with identical spin polarization, anomalous Hall effect, orbital magnetic moment quantized in units of an effective Bohr magneton, and field orientation sensitive Landau levels.
