The objective of this document is to analyze the studies on Green human resource management and employee performance in Bibliometric perspective. The Scopus Database was used to collect the data. Various keywords were used to search the articles and total 297 publications were found relevant from 2009 to 2024. Over the last few years, an area of increasing interest has been the integration of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) in an organization’s environmental management agenda. The current paper uses Bibliometric and Scientometric methods to analyse trends, relevance, and developments of GHRM especially as it relates impact in employee performance. This paper includes the analysis of the publications made between 2009 and 2024 using the Scopus database, including exploring geographical trends, citation rates and keyword associations. Further analysis of the research indicates that China, Pakistan and Malaysia are among the most prolific GHRM research-producing countries and have registered an increasing trend in the production of papers. The study identifies four key clusters of research themes: Green HRM, sustainable development, environmental performance and organizational performance. The bibliographic analysis revealed that there is an increased interest in GHRM research within the past decades, and that GHRM is positively linked to increased employee engagement, organisational commitment, job satisfaction and organisational performance. Scientometric analysis also reaffirms the general trend of growing importance of GHRM practices in organisational sustainability and efficiency of employees. Indeed, key articles and journals in this field are defined, and further research agenda is proposed, including perspectives for future investigation into GHRM’s impact, as well as its ability to function in culturally diverse environments. Therefore, this research plays a significant role in providing a fuller understanding of developments in GHRM, the state of growth at the current stage and further potential research directions to improve organizational and personal performance based on sustainable approaches.
