Payment Remuneration, Guarantees and Compensations as Labor Elements of Professional Activity of a Judge

The article covers the Labor Law institutes of Labor Remuneration, Benefits and Compensations connected to Judges’ professional activity. The Author points to the inconsistency of the existing difference in the salaries of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation with the fundamental Labor Law principles of remuneration, the need to eliminate the inequality of salaries of mentioned public officials in accordance with these principles. It is stated that the current legislation should be improved by the rules of supplemental payments for Judges’ overtime work as well as for performing of optional element of labor function of the Judges.
