On the Improvement of Regulations on the Criminal Liability for Subsoil Protection and Use Regulations Violation

The article discusses the need to modernize Article 255 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Based on an analysis of legislation, scientific literature and judicial practice, the author proposes to adjust Part 1 of Art. 255 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, supplementing the norm with socially dangerous consequences in the form of «harm to health» and «other grave consequences».
