Starting from 2022, the Russian national economy has been developing in difficult geopolitical and geo-economic conditions created by unfriendly states through the introduction of unprecedented economic sanctions in order to influence decisions made by the Russian political system. Purpose of the study: to determine the main exogenous and endogenous destructive factors that have a negative impact on the development of the national economy in the conditions of aggressive anti-Russian policies pursued by the states of the “Western Coalition”, and ways to overcome them. Based on the analysis of scientific literature and statistical data, the study concluded that it is necessary to transform the spiritual, ideological and political subsystems of the institutional matrix, aimed at creating the necessary conditions for overcoming, first of all, internal destructive factors, developing competition, reducing the level of oligopoly, and developing a favorable investment environment. climate, human capital, outflow of highly qualified personnel from the Russian economy.
