Tongue Driven Electric Wheelchair based on Magnetic Hall Effect Sensor

This paper presents the development and implementation of an innovative electric wheelchair which is controlled using Tongue Drive System (TDS) utilizing magnetic Hall Effect sensors. Traditional wheelchair control mechanisms pose challenges for individuals with limited mobility, necessitating alternative solutions. Leveraging the precision and versatility of tongue movements, the proposed system integrates magnetic Hall Effect sensors to detect subtle tongue gestures, translating them into wheelchair commands. The system offers a reliable and intuitive interface, enhancing mobility and independence for individuals with disabilities.
