Medicus: Health care Enhancing Accessibility using IoT

Health care and medical endeavors are evolving day by day in tandem with technology. In this study, a novel prototype model is discussed regarding an IoT-based innovative medicine dispenser. This ensures the ease of access to vital pharmaceuticals and the offering of medical advice in the remotest places. The unique architecture of the proposed system integrates IoT and machine learning technologies, forming the dispenser. Patient-friendly control makes the medication management easy. The proposed approach will assist the patient in taking medications on time, swiftly, and above all, without the possibility of missing tablets, as well as eliminating the random chance of overdosing or underdosing, hence minimizing health issues to a greater extent. This paper takes care of exploring the methodology and system architecture of the project, along with promising outcomes to lay a firm road for scalable and impactful healthcare interventions in the rural environment.
