Nonlinear damage dynamics modeling and characteristics simulation of bevel gear set
Abstract As a key core device for power transmission in the main reducer of a helicopter, the bevel gear set affects the flight performance of the helicopter directly. A nonlinear damage dynamic model of bevel gear set was constructed using the centralized parameter method. The inherent characteristics and nonlinear behavior characteristics of bevel gear sets were studied, and the time-frequency domain characteristics under different health states were simulated. The fault response transmission law and fault mechanism of the system were deeply revealed, which provides guidance and support for the optimization design of helicopter transmission system and the diagnosis algorithms development.
