Preface

The 2024 11 th International Conference on Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Materials Engineering (AMTME 2024) was grandly held in Guangzhou, China from May 22 nd to 23 rd , 2024. Scholars, experts and enterprise representatives from all over the world gathered together to discuss the latest research results, technological advances and innovative applications in the fields of advanced manufacturing technology and materials engineering. This conference was organized in a variety of formats, including opening ceremony, keynote speech, oral presentation, poster presentation, Q&A session, academic investigation, etc., aiming to provide a platform for participants to present their research achievements, have in-depth exchanges, and discuss collaborations. As the conference kicked off, the 13 th “Jinbo Award” Global High-level Talent Science and Technology Innovation Competition, initiated by Guangdong Doctoral Innovation and Development Promotion Association and hosted by Doctoral Science and Technology, was simultaneously launched. It’s not only committed to mining and displaying scientific and technological innovation achievements, but also achieving win-win results through diversified cooperation modes. About 200 representatives attended the conference and its two sub-forums, including experts with outstanding achievements in the fields of advanced manufacturing technology and materials engineering as well as young researchers and graduate students interested in the domains. They are actively committed to advancing the fields and promoting academic exchanges and collaborations through this international event. Attendees listened to the presentations of outstanding researchers from all over the world and engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges with them. The Proceedings of AMTME 2024 contains excellent academic papers collected from the conference and submitted from all over the globe, which covers a wide range of topics and cutting-edge researches in the fields of advanced manufacturing technology and materials engineering and their relevant disciplines, including but not limited to: Material Processing and Forming Technology, Metamaterial Structure Design, Smart Construction Technology, Intelligent Manufacturing Technology, Robots and Intelligent Systems, Machine Vision and Sensor Technology, etc. The editorial board, a group of experts with rich experience and outstanding achievements in related fields, were responsible for reviewing and selecting the best papers to ensure the high quality and academic impact of this Proceedings.
