Mode Stabilizing Mechanism in Anti-phase Wire-like Active-region Membrane Distributed Reflector Lasers

The mode stabilizing mechanism in anti-phase complex-coupled grating wire-like active-region distributed reflector lasers is theoretically demonstrated. Enhanced side mode suppression under the spatial-hole-burning effect provides high reflection tolerance compared to index-coupled grating lasers.
