O-Band Low Loss and Polarization Insensitivity Edge Coupler

We design a bilayer double-tip edge coupler for efficient TE and TM mode coupling in the O-band, achieving <1.52 dB/facet (TE) and <2 dB/facet (TM) losses with a 4 μm MFD optical fiber. © 2024 The Author(s).
