Femtosecond Short Wavelength Infrared Laser System Based on Tm:Tb:ZBLAN Fibers

We have developed a femtosecond laser system based on thulium-doped core and terbium-doped cladding fluoride fibers. The system produces 254 fs sub-micro joule pulses at 1770 nm, which is suitable for multi-photon microscopy.

Abstract

We have developed a femtosecond laser system based on thulium-doped core and terbium-doped cladding fluoride fibers. The system produces 254 fs sub-micro joule pulses at 1770 nm, which is suitable for multi-photon microscopy.
