Efficient Continuous-wave Wavelength Conversion in a Silicon Microring Resonator for the 2-μm Band

We demonstrate high-efficiency mid-infrared four-wave mixing using a silicon microring resonator, with conversion efficiency up to −15.57 dB under a 4.42 dBm continuous-wave pump power. The signal-idler bandwidth is estimated to be > 140.4 nm. © 2024 The Author(s)

Abstract

We demonstrate high-efficiency mid-infrared four-wave mixing using a silicon microring resonator, with conversion efficiency up to −15.57 dB under a 4.42 dBm continuous-wave pump power. The signal-idler bandwidth is estimated to be > 140.4 nm. © 2024 The Author(s)
