Controllable THz Emission from a Hybrid Heterostructure Co/WSe2 with a Rashba-Interface

We present a hybrid spintronic terahertz emitter with a Rashba interface, based on a ferromagnet (Co)/2D semiconductor (WSe2) heterostructure. We demonstrate the potential of such terahertz converters to control amplitude and polarization of terahertz radiation.

Abstract

We present a hybrid spintronic terahertz emitter with a Rashba interface, based on a ferromagnet (Co)/2D semiconductor (WSe2) heterostructure. We demonstrate the potential of such terahertz converters to control amplitude and polarization of terahertz radiation.
