Wearable Strain-Force Sensor Based on the Mechanoluminescent Polymer Fiber

A mechanoluminescent polymer is used to directly convert the mechanical strain into fluorescence, which enables the detection of deformation and force at the same time. It achieves the maximum strain and mechanical force of around 60% and 0.5 N, respectively. © 2024 The Author(s).
