Reconfigurable Soliton Crystals in Integrated Microresonators
Configurable and adiabatic generation of soliton crystals (SC) is achieved in an <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\text{Si}_{3}\mathrm{N}_{4}$</tex> microring-resonator. 2-SC to 7-SCs are attained, achieving up to 21 dB increase in line power and 92 Gb/s PAM4 transmission per line.
