Distance and Velocity Measurement Using a Single Asymmetric Dual-Chirp with FMCW RADARs

We propose a photonic de-chirping receiver model for distance and velocity estimation using a single asymmetric dual-chirp waveform. The system is tested for approaching and receding targets showing a maximum error of 2.5 m/s.
