Applications of Terahertz Time-Domain Coherent Raman Spectroscopy to Aqueous Solutions
This paper reports Terahertz Time-Domain Coherent Raman Spectroscopy (THz-TDCRS) and its applications to aqueous solutions. THz-TDCRS is suitable to investigate low frequency Raman spectra of liquid samples in a frequency range from 0.3 to 20 THz (10 ~ 600 cm−1) and easy to implement if a broadband femtosecond laser is available. Low frequency coherent Raman spectra of pure water, NaCl solution, and others are demonstrated as examples.
