Robust, Compact Microring Resonator Based on Optimized N-Adjustable Curvature

We present a compact microring resonator (MRR) based on optimized N-adjustable curvature and fabricated it on the silicon-on-insulator platform. Experimental results show around 30-percent footprint reduction compared to Euler-based MRRs, demonstrating its high-density integration capability. © 2024 The Author(s)

Abstract

We present a compact microring resonator (MRR) based on optimized N-adjustable curvature and fabricated it on the silicon-on-insulator platform. Experimental results show around 30-percent footprint reduction compared to Euler-based MRRs, demonstrating its high-density integration capability. © 2024 The Author(s)
