Solid-State Beam Steering Using Optical Phased Array for LiDAR Applications

We demonstrate horizontal optical beam-steering in a 64-channel silica based optical phased array device. The measured field-of-view (FOV) was about 15.8° with the total insertion loss of 4.2 dB.
