GN-Model Performance Evaluation of Distributed Raman Amplification for WDM Transmission

We evaluate distributed Raman amplification using the GN model across O-to-U bands of SMF and NZDSF for ultra-long span applications. Optimum operation is found for pump and signal located in the S and L-band, respectively. © 2024 The Author(s)
