Broadband-Ness of $q$-Plate with Their Three $q$-Plate Configuration
Liquid crystal retarders called q-plates have been used to create Orbital Angular Momentum states. Commercial q-plates are designed for use at specific wavelengths. In the present work, we exhibit a gadget made of three q-plates that can be used to cover a broad range of wavelengths. These gadgets can be used as π-retarders, enabling a complete conversion from circular polarization, i.e., Spin Angular Momentum to Orbital Angular Momentum States.
