Enhanced Short-Wave Infrared Detection Using Colloidal-Synthesized AgFeS2 Nanocrystals
This study explores the synthesis and characterization of AgFeS<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> nanocrystals for photonic and photovoltaic applications, highlighting their narrow band gap and high absorption coefficient. Through XRD, FTIR, Hall analysis, and transient response evaluation, we demonstrate AgFeS2's potential in enhancing infrared detection systems. The results indicate significant advancements in imaging and environmental sensing technologies, advocating for further material optimization and application exploration.
