Pulse Coded BOTDA Sensing System Based on Optical Orthogonal Code and SEFDM

We demonstrate a pulse-coded BOTDA system employing SEFDM and optical orthogonal codes (OOC). Results show that the 5-km BOTDA system utilizing an OOC (75,6,1) yields 3-dB SNR gain and double frequency precision over single-pulse scenarios.
