Simulation of Meta Vortex Retarders in a Ray-Tracing and a Wave-Based Metalens Design Software

A meta vortex retarder made with rotating nanofins is simulated with a ray-based metalens design tool. For the purpose of validation, the polarization-dependent point spread function is also calculated and compared with two wave-based tools.
