Bifurcate Transformation Path in an Ytterbium-Doped Fiber Laser with Two Mode-Locking Pulse States

We observed a bifurcate transformation between the dissipative soliton and similariton by simulation in an Yb-doped fiber laser with near-zero net dispersion. Distinct convergent solutions under identical conditions result in the bifurcation.
