Mid-Infrared Chaos Lidar Based on an Interband Cascade Laser

This work demonstrates a chaos lidar in the mid-infrared regime, based on the chaos source of an interband cascade laser with optical feedback. The chaos lidar shows a sub-centimeter accuracy and a sub-centimeter precision.
