Simultaneous detection of rotation angle and speed using a monolithic GaN optoelectronic chip

We demonstrate the simultaneous detection of the speed and angle of an object by combining an optoelectronic chip and a 3D-printed plate. 360° angle detection and the maximum speed of 5000 rpm are obtained.
