PMMA Fiber-Based Microbubble Laser for High-Sensitive Biomolecule Detection

A novel tunable flexible fiber microbubble laser based on polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) doping has been proposed for the first time. This device, benefiting from the microcavity's high stability, superior sensitivity, and high Q-factor optical characteristics, enables efficient, real-time biomedical pathological monitoring at low concentrations. Additionally, it provides an excellent interface for human-machine health interaction.
