The research note highlights the potential of integrating Halal principles with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to better cater to Muslim travelers’ motivations. It proposes a model incorporating spiritual and religious dimensions into Maslow’s traditional psychological frameworks, aiming to offer a comprehensive understanding of motivations in Halal tourism.
